CCTV appeal after girl, 15, assaulted at station

British Transport Police said they would like to speak with this man

Officers investigating the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to.

British Transport Police said the incident had taken place in the underpass at York railway station on 29 March.

The force said the girl had been approached by a male who spoke to her briefly before assaulting her.

Anyone who recognises the man or has information about the incident is asked to contact police.
