Coldplay's Chris Martin surprises fans in Dublin

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin cheered on by fans ahead of the band filming a video in Dublin City centre

Chris Martin surprised fans and passers-by on Dublin's Grafton Street on Wednesday night.
Coldplay's frontman was also joined by artists Burna Boy, Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini to perform their just-released collaboration We Pray to the delighted crowd.
Fans were posting on social media that the impromptu performance was for a new promo video.

Earlier, Martin shared a video of himself enjoying a trip to Dún Laoghaire ahead of the band's sold-out shows in Croke Park.
A video posted on Coldplay's social media saw Martin venturing along the pier and chatting with a busker.
"So happy to be in Dublin. Pleasure to meet you, Gerry," Martin wrote.

Coldplay will play sold-out shows in Croke Park on Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday.

Chris Martin was joined by other artist in a surprise Grafton Street gig
