The 60th Scottish Ploughing Championships have taken place in the Highlands.
There were different classes of competition, including contests for ploughs drawn by horses and vintage tractors.
The event was held at Newmore Farm, near Invergordon, over the weekend.
The competition's rules include entrants being barred from trying to mark out lines to follow by leaving marks on the ground.
Furrows must be ploughed to a certain depth and contestants have to complete their set amount of ploughing within a designated time.
To have a chance of winning, the ploughing must be uniform and neat and no stubble or grass should be visible in the furrows.
