Three Rushden Lakes attractions saved from closure
- Published
A deal has been struck to save three attractions at the Rushden Lakes shopping centre in Northamptonshire from permanent closure.
The trampoline park Flip Out, The Terrace bar and the adjacent roller-skating nightclub will be run by different management when they reopen.
Flip Out was run by a franchise operator, but will be brought back under head office control.
All three outlets shut suddenly on Monday.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Flip Out group, the firm said the trampoline park was "poised to reopen under new management".
"It has previously been run by a franchise operator, but it will now be brought under the Flip Out group, which manages a number of Flip Out parks across the UK."
It added that, when the trampoline park reopened, it would "have an all-inclusive pricing to include the roller rink. Previously, this was charged as an additional experience."
It is understood the roller rink will lose its existing Twisterz name.
The statement added that The Terrace diner will also be available for customers.
The three attractions will come under the umbrella of We Do Play, co-owned by Richard Beese.
He said: "I would like to apologise for any inconvenience previous messaging around this fabulous indoor adventure park at Rushden Lakes may have caused, but we hope the extended offering to include the roller rink as part of an all-inclusive price will help to maximise the fun experience our customers will have once we fully reopen."
