Man, 21, in hospital after being hit by van

Police have appealed for witnesses and footage

A 21-year-old man was left with serious injuries when he was hit by a van in Heanor.
Derbyshire Police said a white Fiat Ducato struck the pedestrian in Ilkeston Road at 23:10 BST on Monday.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his face and lower leg.
Officers said the driver of the van, a man in his 20s, stopped at the scene and was helping police with their inquiries. No arrests have been made, the force added.
Police have appealed for witnesses, in particular three men who were seen in the area at the time.
