M62 police incident sees rush hour traffic jams

The incident is causing delays of around 40 minutes

A police incident was causing widespread disruption on the M62 earlier.
Highways England reported delays of up to 40 minutes between junctions 11 at Birchwood and 12 at the M60 Eccles Interchange at about 9:15 BST.
The delays are also being affected by a separate incident in Bolton, with the M61 northbound between junction 2 for A666 and the A6053 also seeing congestion.
Manchester's Bee Network said due to congestion at the A666 on St Peters Way and Bradford Street, the following bus services were experiencing delays: 6, 22, 36, 471, 501 and 524.
