Police say a man in his 20s is being treated in hospital for knife wounds

Two men have been charged following a fight that resulted in a man in his 20s being treated in hospital for stab wounds.

Officers were called to Bridge Road near the Curlew Centre in Sutton Bridge on Friday evening, Lincolnshire Police said.

Mahmoud Ruswolpoor, 37, of Medlock Place, Boston, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, and Bzaf Abdullah, 20, also of Medlock Place, Boston, has been charged with affray follwoing the incident, the force said.

The men will appear at Lincoln District Magistrates' Court on 2 June.

The force said a 28-year-old man who had also been arrested in connection with the incident had been released without charge.

Officers said two people had been hurt in the incident and the injuries suffered by the man being treated in hospital were not thought to be life threatening.
