A driver has been charged in connection with the death of a "beloved husband" who was hit by a car two years ago.

Justin Edhouse, 49, from Chippenham in Wiltshire, died after he was struck by a white BMW at the junction of Gladstone Road and Avenue La Fleche in the town while out walking on 17 December 2023.

Ben Morgan, 37, of Kennet Road in Devizes, has been charged with causing death by careless driving.

He is due to appear before Swindon Magistrates' Court later.

In a tribute made shortly after his death, Mr Edhouse's family said: "Justin was a beloved husband, son, brother and uncle who will be sorely missed."
