City park could host international food festival

A "family friendly" international food festival could be held in a popular Sheffield park in the summer after plans were submitted to the city council.
Organisers of the Graves Park Food & Drink Festival aim to stage a "celebration of international influence and local talent", with food, drink and live music.
The event would run on 30 and 31 August in the centre of the park, with organisers paying a charity fee to use the site.
Sheffield City Council's charity trustee sub-committee will decide whether to accept or decline the proposal on 21 January.
The proposal said a grassed area would be fenced off with a ticket booth at one side of the fencing, according to the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
But organisers said the fencing would not "prohibit public access" around the field or to any part of the park.
