A man has been charged with murdering a woman whose body was found 10 days after she was reported missing.
Mariann Borocz had not been seen since 14 December and police had carried out searches along with community appeals to find her.
Greater Manchester Police said her body was found at a property in Bolton on Monday and has since been formally identified.
Christopher Barlow, 60, of Pedder Street, Bolton, is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court charged with her murder.
Ms Borocz's relatives are being supported by family liaison officers, the force said.
Detectives urged anyone with information to contact them.
Det Ch Insp Tony Platten said: "Our condolences remain with Mariann's family as they try to come to terms with her death.
"Our investigation is moving at pace, and we are continuing to work hard to build a full timeline of events leading up to Mariann's death.
"As part of our investigation, we are once again appealing for additional information from the local community."
