A man has died after a crash involving a single car on Sunday morning, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said emergency services were called about 05:05 BST to an incident in the Glynn Valley near Doublebois in Cornwall.

Police said the driver of a Ford C-Max, a man in his 40s from Plymouth, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers closed the road for 12 hours while investigative work took place and are appealing for any witnesses or relevant dashcam footage.
