A motorcyclist has died after hitting a roundabout.

West Mercia Police said it happened at about 09:35 BST on Sunday at the roundabout between St Peter's Drive and Norton Road in Worcester.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old man, died at the scene.

The force said it expected Norton Road to remain closed from the A4440 to the roundabout at the junctions of Crookbarrow Road and Talavera Road for several hours while investigations were carried out.

Officers said they wanted to hear from anyone who witnessed or who had dashcam footage of the collision, or of the motorcycle in the minutes before.
