Severe delays after vehicle fire on M8 in Glasgow

Drivers have been caught in longs delays after a vehicle fire on the M8 motorway in the centre of Glasgow during morning rush hour.
The blaze at junction 18, near Charing Cross, closed a large section of the eastbound carriageway between junctions 22 and 16. The M77 was also closed northbound at junction one.
Traffic Scotland said the incident caused 45 minute delays with traffic diverted onto the M74.
Both roads have now reopened.
