A motorcyclist has died following a crash with a car.

Police and paramedics were called to the B1096 Wood Lane in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, at about 20:25 BST on Saturday.

The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of a white Toyota Yaris, a 74-year-old man from Sawtry, was left with slight injuries. Police have appealed for witnesses and those with dashcam footage to come forward.

Cambridgeshire Police said the car was driving towards Ramsey when it collided with a green Kawasaki bike heading in the direction of Ramsey Forty Foot.

The deceased man's family was being supported by family liaison officers, police added.
