A man has been found guilty of attempted murder after stabbing a woman in Surrey.

Richard Flower, 39, stabbed the woman at an address in Kenyngton Drive, Sunbury-on-Thames, on 25 August last year.

A woman in her 30s was taken to hospital in a serious condition and was later discharged and recovered at home.

Flower, of Kenyngton Drive, was found guilty by a jury at Guildford Crown Court on Thursday. He will be sentenced at a later date.
