Pedestrian killed after dual carriageway collision

A pedestrian has died after they were hit by a lorry on a major road which runs through a county.

Northamptonshire Police said it was called to the westbound carriageway of the A14, near junction 10 for Burton Latimer, at about 11:10 GMT on Friday.

The force said a 52-year-old pedestrian had been in collision with a HGV lorry "for reasons not yet known".

Officers have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
