A castle is set to play host to more than a dozen comedians as an open air event returns for a second year.

Well-known names including Simon Amstell and Rory Bremner are due to perform at Warwick Castle between 24 and 26 May, alongside rising stars such as Lindsey Santoro from Birmingham, who was nominated for a best newcomer award as part of the Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2023.

Comedy at the Castle is part-organised by Close Up comedy, which runs club shows in Birmingham and Coventry.

"The Midlands comedy scene is in a great place," said director Harry Jenkins.

The first Comedy at the Castle in September 2023 attracted more than 3,000 comedy fans, organisers said.
