A man is due to appear in court after a police officer was bitten by a dog in Rotherham.
Dale Fontana, 35, of Kimberworth Park Road, Rotherham, has been charged with allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control, injuring a person.
The charge relates to reports of a police officer being bitten in the street in Rotherham on 27 August 2023, South Yorkshire Police said.
Mr Fontana will appear before Sheffield Magistrates' Court on 4 April.
