Appeal after cyclist knocked off bike

The cyclist suffered serious injuries after the assault on a path near Box Hill

Footage has been released of a cyclist being knocked to the ground by two people on a dirt bike.

The assault took place at about 19:20 BST last Wednesday on a path running parallel to the A24 near Box Hill, Surrey.

The victim was riding north towards Givons Grove Roundabout when he was approached and kicked from behind causing him to fall, Surrey Police said.

The man remains in hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries.

Surrey Police is appealing for anyone who may have seen anything to come forward.
