A Jersey arts charity has announced some of the successful artists in the second round of its development grants.

ArtHouse Jersey said the quarterly funding initiative offered financial assistance and support for the creation of new work or to help applicants who wanted to pursue a career in the arts.

Those selected include actor and writer Jack Evans-Rentsch who is in the process of creating a new comedy about remote island politics.

He said there were plans to shoot the short film produced by Tiny Speck Productions on location in Jersey with a local cast and crew.
