More than 30 cats have been saved from a house fire.

Three fire crews were sent to the property on Bridge Street, Leominster, Herefordshire, on Sunday at about 03:23 BST.

The blaze was in the first-floor bedroom of a three-storey terraced home.

Three women were assessed by the ambulance service, with 32 cats rescued. The animals received oxygen therapy and were transported to a cat rescue centre.
