Neighbours feel unsafe after shots fired at house

A shot was fired at the front door of a house in an estate in Knowsley, police said.
A glass panel in the door was visibly cracked after the attack in Round Hey, Stockbridge Village, at about 20:00 GMT on Sunday.
Merseyside Police said no-one was injured and a cordon around the scene had been lifted shortly after 09:00 on Monday.
One resident who lived nearby said his own property had been shot at a few years ago and told the BBC: "It does make you feel unsafe."
The resident, who said he had been at home on Sunday evening but did not hear any shots, said: "About five or maybe six years ago we got shotgun pellets on our door, our house was fired at or got the residue of the shotgun pellets...
"It does make you feel unsafe, but I'm ex-forces so I know how to look after myself."
The man, who did not wish to give his name, pointed to strike marks still visible on the wall and on a wooden bin gate.
Merseyside Police said the damage to the front door in the latest incident was believed to have been caused by a firearm discharge.
Det Ch Insp Phil Atkinson said: "Anyone who fires a weapon at a house risks causing very serious harm or worse to anyone inside...
“Merseyside Police will not tolerate such dangerous and reckless behaviour and we are committed to finding those responsible and bringing them to justice."
He urged anyone with information or CCTV or doorbell camera footage that could help the investigation to get in touch.
