Motorcyclist, 24, dies three days after crash

A motorcyclist has died three days after a crash involving a Jeep.

The 24-year-old was taken to hospital after a collision on the A3049 Dorset Way in Poole on Wednesday, shortly before 16:30 GMT.

He died on Saturday evening, and police said his family have been informed.

Dorset Police has appealed for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage of the crash near the Old Wareham Road roundabout to come forward.

Sgt Dave Cotterill, of the Dorset Police Roads Policing Team, said: "Our thoughts are very much with the family and loved ones of the man who sadly died."
