Pupils test newsreading skills for World Book Day

Pupils at a primary school in Plymouth have been putting their reading skills to the test for World Book Day by learning how to read the news.
Ernesettle Community School said it wanted to link the event to aspirational careers to highlight "how important reading is to many jobs".
Students in Year 5 were tasked to "report on World Book Day" and some practised reading from an autocue.
Teacher Victoria Way said the school was "trying to break social barriers and make the children believe in themselves".
