A man is due to appear in court charged with 29 sex offences said to have taken place more than 18 years ago.

Malcolm Barnes, 66, faces charges including rape and indecent assault against a girl under 14.

The alleged offences are said to have taken place between 1980 and 2007.

Mr Barnes of of Newman Road, Rotherham is due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates' Court on 7 March.
