Three boys, one aged 14 and two 15, have been charged with offences including kidnap and robbery after a man had his car stolen in Birmingham.

Police said he was found with leg injuries shortly before 03:00 GMT on Saturday at the junction of Gravelly Lane and Mona Road in Erdington.

All three teenagers are accused of kidnap and robbery, with one of the 15-year-olds facing additional charges of dangerous driving and possessing a knife in a public place.

The trio are due to appear before Birmingham Youth Court on Monday, the force added.
