Teenager arrested after pedestrian death

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, after a man died on Tuesday.

Staffordshire Police was called to the B5013 at Blithfield Reservoir at 21:30 BST, following reports of a collision involving a blue Fiat and a pedestrian.

The man, who was in his 20s, died at the scene.

The teenager, from Stafford, has since been released on conditional bail while the investigation continues.

The force wants to speak to anyone who was in the area between 21:15 and 21:35.
