Car crashes into garden shed

A Saltash man said he had a lucky escape after a car crashed into his garden and smashed into his garden shed.
Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police and an ambulance were called to Warfelton Crescent just after 10:00 BST to reports of a vehicle coming off the road.
The driver sustained only a minor injury and nobody else was hurt, the force said.
The car has now been removed.
Carl Kruger was upstairs in his bedroom when the car hit the shed but said it was lucky he was not in the garden at the time.
He said: "I was here prior, 20 minutes ago, working on the area, obviously I heard the crash, bang, wallop and the engine revving and the tin shed folding and I thought 'now what?'.
"Unfortunately there's a fair bit of damage inside the shed I've now got to assess, get in touch with his insurance company and start putting a claim in basically," he said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said it was investigating the incident.
