A man from Birmingham has been jailed for dealing drugs in Crewe.

Mohammed Musaid Ali, of Court Road, Balsall Heath, appeared at Chester Crown Court on Monday where he was sentenced to six and a half years in prison.

He had earlier pleaded guilty to charges relating to the supply of cocaine, crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis.

The offences occurred between 1 May 2023 and 30 November 2023, Cheshire Police said.

His arrest followed an investigation into county lines drug dealing in the Crewe area.

Officers seized several mobile phones, including two belonging to Ali.

Drug paraphernalia including snap bags and a bag containing nearly £14,000 in cash were also seized.

Det Sgt Kev Williams said: "In Cheshire we're committed to continually identifying dealers and removing them from our streets to thwart the supply of illegal drugs.

"I hope this reassures residents and serves as a warning to those planning to supply drugs in Cheshire that we leave no stone unturned and will continue to remove illegal drugs and those selling it from our streets."
