Man suffers brain bleed after being stamped on

Police have released two images of a man who they want to speak to

A man in his 20s spent four days in hospital being treated for a brain bleed after he was punched and stamped on by two men.

Police said the attack happened on Broad Street in Bath between 02:00 and 03:00 BST on 25 March.

The victim also suffered fractures to his jaw and eye socket and continues to suffer with hearing loss in his right ear.

Police have now released CCTV images of a man who they believe may have information which could assist the investigation.

Anyone who recognises the man in the images, or who may have any other information which could assist the investigation, is encouraged to contact police or Crimestoppers anonymously.

Police said one of the suspects is described as white, aged in his 20s, tall and with short dark hair.

He was also said to be clean shaven and wore a grey EA7 jumper, ripped baggy blue jeans and white trainers.

A 23-year-old man from Bath who was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent has been released on bail.
