Carl Holliday, of Tankerville Street, Hartlepool, admitted the offence at Teesside Magistrates' Court.

He was remanded in custody until sentencing at Teesside Crown Court on 2 September.

She was remanded in custody until an appearance at crown court on 2 September.

Arrests

A 38-year-old man handed himself into police this afternoon after police published an image relating to the Hartlepool riots.

He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and is in police custody.

The man is the 21st person to be arrested by Cleveland Police in connection with Wednesday's riots, which were sparked by the stabbing of three children in Southport.

In one of a number of riots that have taken place across the country, officers clashed with a group of more than 100 people.

Police forces also tackled violent disorder in Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Liverpool, Rotherham and Belfast over the weekend.
