Boy suffers critical injury in machete attack

A 17-year-old boy has suffered a critical injury after being attacked with a machete in a street.
The assault happened near the Southdowns pub on Felpham Way, in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, at 20:50 BST on Friday.
The victim, from Worthing, was airlifted to hospital where he remains in a serious condition, according to Sussex Police.
Two boys, 15 and 17, both from Bognor Regis, have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and remain in custody.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have footage that might assist their inquiries to contact them.
