A road in Newport was closed for six hours after a lorry crashed into a bridge.
Gwent Police officers were called to the scene on Cardiff Road at around 21:30 BST on Tuesday, after receiving reports that a lorry had become stuck underneath a bridge.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and the Welsh Ambulance Service also attended the incident.
No injuries were reported.
Newport City councillor Stephen Marshall, who was at the scene, posted a picture of the crash on social media to warn residents of the road closure.
He said that “the lorry was fully wedged and tilted to the side.
"People were nosing what was happening, but no overall concern as services were there quickly," he added.
The road reopened in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
