Police have cordoned off a property in Lincolnshire following the arrest of a 55-year-old man for firearms offences.

Lincolnshire Police said "items of interest" that needed to be examined and removed were found at a property on New End in Wainfleet earlier.

The 60m (197ft) cordon stretches from the junction of Magdalen Road and Spilsby Road to North Holme Road, continuing up to its junction with Spilsby Road.

The force said some properties on Brewster Lane, Spilsby Road and the High Street up to Magdalen Road were being evacuated and moved to Coronation Hall until the incident is resolved.
