A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted kidnap in Horley.

Police received reports of a concern for safety outside Lidl in Victoria Road, at about 08:30 GMT.

Anyone who was in the area or who might have information or CCTV, dashcam or helmet cam footage was asked to contact Surrey Police.

The force said the man remains in custody.
