A 52-year-old man has been taken to hospital following a report of a firearm being discharged at a property in Glasgow in what police described as a "targeted incident".
Armed police were called to Drumoyne Road in the Govan area of the city at about 16:00 on Friday.
Police Scotland said the man's injuries were not life-threatening.
Ch Insp Jordan Dickson said: “We believe this was a targeted incident and there is not thought to be any wider risk to the public."
He added: “Officers are carrying out extensive inquiries, including door-to-door and CCTV work. Extra patrols are also being carried out."
