Teen charged with attempted murder of 16-year-old

A teenager has been charged with the attempted murder of a 16-year-old boy.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said the victim had been found with a suspected stab wound to his chest on Commercial Road in Portsmouth at about 17:25 GMT on Saturday.
The force said his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing, and he remains in hospital in a stable condition.
The suspect, also a 16-year-old boy, from Leicestershire, was remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
He has also been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.
Specialist officers were deployed to the area around Arundel Street where the incident is reported to had taken place, shortly before the victim was found.
Another 16-year-old boy from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and has been conditionally bailed until 26 April.
Two 17-year-old boys, a 16-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, all from Portsmouth, plus a 17 year-old boy from Gosport were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
They have all been conditionally bailed until 25 April while inquiries continue.
