Police are appealing for information following reports of a man exposing himself in Eastbourne.

The man, who police said was in his 30s, allegedly approached women on 25 September in Green Street and on 29 September in Bay Pond Road.

He is reported to have asked for their help, stating he was injured, before indecently exposing himself to them.

Sussex Police has released an image of a man officers would like to speak to who the force believes may be able to assist with inquiries.

Det Insp Barry Chandler said: "These are concerning reports, and we are undertaking multiple lines of enquiry to identify a suspect.

"CCTV enquiries are currently underway, and we ask anyone who may have footage to assist the investigation to contact police.

"We ask you remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour immediately."
