Nichole Pratt, 25, abused two children over a 10-month period

A woman who made videos of herself abusing two children has been jailed for more than seven years.

Nichole Pratt, 25, initially denied the offences but later pleaded guilty to causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and two counts of child sexual assault.

Pratt's abuse came to light after police received an anonymous tip-off, Hereford Crown Court heard.

The Crown Prosecution (CPS) described the case against Pratt, of Foster Crescent, Leominster, as "truly harrowing and disturbing".

Senior crown prosecutor Angela Trafford said: "Nichole Pratt systematically abused two vulnerable young children in what can only be described as the most serious form of sexual abuse.

"The children concerned put their trust in Pratt. By her actions she has shown a flagrant disregard for that trust for her own gratification."

The CPS said the defendant carried out the abuse between October 2023 and August 2024.

When she was arrested, police seized her phone and a USB stick and found the most severe category of videos, category A, of her separately abusing two different youngsters.

When interviewed under caution, Pratt denied any involvement in the offences but changed her plea in court after hearing "overwhelming" evidence against her, the CPS said.

Pratt was also put on the sex offenders register and given a sexual harm prevention order by the judge as she was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison.
