Search for driver after cyclist hurt in hit-and-run

The cyclist was hurt after being struck by a car in Rochdale

Police officers are searching for a driver after an early morning hit-and-run in which a cyclist was hurt.

The car struck the cyclist on Molesworth Street, Rochdale at about 05:00 BST, but failed to stop, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.

A force spokesman said the cyclist w receiving treatment but the full extent of their injuries was not yet known.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police, he added.
