A man has died at a McDonald's fast food restaurant in Staffordshire.
Paramedics were called to reports of a medical emergency at the branch on Eccleshall Road, Stafford, at about 18:20 GMT on Monday.
The man was found in a critical condition and given advanced life support, but died at the scene, said West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS).
Staffordshire Police said it was called to reports of a man in cardiac arrest and his death was not being treated as suspicious.
In a statement, McDonald's said it was deeply saddened by the incident and was supporting its restaurant team while cooperating fully with police.
The restaurant had reopened and was operating as usual, McDonald's added.
WMAS sent an ambulance, two paramedic officers and a critical care paramedic to the incident at Stafford Trade Centre.
A report would be prepared for the coroner, said police.
