Speed limits reduced in parts of Jersey

The changes follow speed reductions introduced on five roads in Jersey in November

New speed limits have come into force on some roads in Jersey.
The reduced speed limits form part of the States of Jersey's Island Speed Limit Framework, external, aimed at improving road safety.
Five roads, or parts of roads, in St Mary and St Lawrence, have gone from 40mph to 30mph, while the limit in St Mary's Village including Le Clos de I'Arsenal has dropped from 40mph to 20mph.
Twelve roads have been given Green Lane status meaning speed limits have been reduced to 15mph.
The 40mph to 30mph changes are:
La Grande Rue
La Rue Rondin leading into Le Mont de Ste Marie
La Rue de la Frontière leading into Les Chanolles des Six Rues
Roads given Green Lane status:
La Chève Rue
The northern end of La Grande Rue by The Priory
La Rue à Georges
La Rue Bechervaise
La Rue du Douet
La Rue ès Boeufs
La Rue ès Viberts (in both St Mary and St Peter)
La Rue du Couvent (in both St Mary and St Lawrence)
Le Jardin du Couvent
Le Clos des Buis
Le Mont Remon (St Peter)
La Verte Rue (St Lawrence)
