An investigation is set to take place into a large fire at a recycling centre in Leicester.

Emergency services were alerted to flames at A E Burgess and Sons, a waste and recycling centre in Ulverscroft Road, shortly after 10:42 BST on Monday.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed crews were still on site on Tuesday morning as firefighting operations continued.

All crews have since left the scene, however the service said it would continue to monitor the site.
