Second person charged following stabbing

A second person has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following a town stabbing.
The attack took place on Monarch Road in Northampton on the evening of 5 February, with a 29-year-old man requiring emergency surgery.
A man, aged 19, who was also charged with possessing a bladed article, has been remanded in custody by magistrates.
He will appear again at Northampton Crown Court on 24 February, alongside a 17-year-old boy who was previously charged with attempted murder.
A 22-year-old woman, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, remains on police bail.
