Trio accused of pub murder appear in court

Three men accused of murdering a man who was hit by a car outside a Lancashire pub in on Christmas Day have appeared in court.
Kirk Marsden, 37, was struck outside The Gate Bar and Grill on the corner of Moorgate Street, Blackburn, just after 16:45 GMT and taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he died on Boxing Day.
Thomas Ward, 58, of no fixed address, Michael O'Neill, 35, of New Wellington Street, Blackburn, and James Ward, 26, of no fixed address, were each charged with murder.
They appeared at Preston Crown Court earlier and were remanded in custody to appear again at the same court on 24 February.
