Delay to completion of new Tain school campus

Highland Council says building work on a new school campus in Tain in Easter Ross is running six months behind schedule.
It was originally due for completion next month, but contractors are now not expected to finish the £45m project until June next year.
That would mean staff and pupils would start classes in the new building at the beginning of the next school year in August.
Highland Council said it was continuing to monitor progress with a particular focus on quality.
Councillors gave full planning permission for the campus for three to 18 year olds in April 2022.
Tain Community Campus will replace Tain Royal Academy, Craighill and Knockbreck primaries and St Duthus School - which supports pupils with severe, complex and profound additional support needs - on one site.
A plan to create a campus in Tain was approved by Highland councillors in 2015.
