Tributes have been paid to a mother of seven who died after she was found with serious stab wounds.
Pauline Sweeney, 50, died a short time after being found at an address in Long Close Avenue, Coventry, on 20 March.
Her partner William Brady, 57, has been charged with murder.
He is due to appear before Crown Court again on 9 May.
In a statement Ms Sweeney's family said she was the life and soul of every room she walked into.
"She was a strong woman who wouldn’t let anything bring her down.
"We’ll remember her with a tear in our eye and love in our hearts. Rest in peace. Love from your seven children."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "Our thoughts remain with Pauline's loved ones at this distressing time and we'll be doing all we can to support them."
