Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a hit and run crash that left a woman with life-threatening injuries.

The incident took place on Bridge Street in Evesham last Thursday, when a 73-year-old woman who was crossing the road was hit by a grey Ford Kuga, police said.

Officers said they believed the man in the image might have information that could help their investigation.

Two men who were arrested in connection with the incident have since been released on police bail.

West Mercia Police said the collision took place just after 11:00 GMT on 21 March and the woman was still in hospital with life-threatening injuries on Sunday.

Det Insp Ollie Moore said officers also wanted to speak to anyone who was in Bridge Street around the time of the collision and had seen the car, or had dashcam footage.
