Murder charge after man found dead in home

Police investigating the death of a man in Nottinghamshire have charged a man with murder.

Officers were called to the scene in Eddleston Drive, Clifton, at about 20:30 BST on Tuesday.

Jonathan Dittia, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene soon afterwards.

Caine Lonsdale, 34 and of Lerwick Close in Nottingham, has been charged with murder and will appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

In a statement, Mr Dittia's family said he "was a gentle giant who has left a giant hole in our hearts".
