Man denies destroying evidence after woman's death

A man has denied perverting the course of justice following the death of a woman in Bradford.
Donna Smith, 48, was hit by a car on Hillcrest Drive, Queensbury, on 29 August, and died in hospital two days later.
Kiel Sanderson, 39, of Calderstone Avenue, Bradford, is accused of setting a car on fire to destroy evidence.
He appeared at Bradford Crown Court via video link where he denied the charge.
Mr Sanderson was initially charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
The case will next be heard at Bradford Crown Court on 26 November, and a trial date has been set for 16 February.
